Mr G Walker
Chair of Learning & Achievement Committee, Appeals Committee and responsibility for Safeguarding

I am a teacher with more than twenty years of classroom experience. An Assisted Head, I have experience of both senior pastoral and academic leadership in outstanding schools, and I am currently Head of Sixth Form at an independent school in Hertfordshire.

As a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, I am passionate about widening participation in higher education and have worked with a number of maintained secondary schools in London and the South East to increase the number of students applying to university, and to the most selective institutions in particular.

As an experienced Career and Professional Development (CPD) consultant, I run courses aimed at preparing teachers for the step up to senior leadership, improving 16-19 student outcomes, and achieving outstanding results in A Level History and Politics.
