The Crowlands’ PTA work very hard throughout the year to raise much needed money to pay for the essential “extras” that make our life so much easier at school.
All parents are automatically members of the PTA. It would be fantastic if more parents became involved with the work done by the PTA to help us maintain the excellent performance and fundraising achieved in the past few years. This is especially the case during the Summer term, when there are lots of events taking place.
If you are unable to attend any meetings but have any ideas or issues you wish to raise, please let the Committee know.
Remember, we are all members of Crowlands’ PTA, so let’s continue to make it a success!
The PTA at Crowlands Primary School:
- Arrange school disco’s
- Organise the Christmas Bazaar and the Summer fete
- Hold colouring competitions
- Create Santa’s grotto
- Run a school tuck shop after school on Fridays.
- Provide the pupils with a pantomime show at Christmas
- Organise sponsored events for example the sponsored bounce
- Hold sales throughout the year
- Provide prizes for competitions
- Provide refreshments at the Governor Awards night and the Orchestra evening
- Give the Year 6 leavers special treats!
- Raise money for different projects
- Provide the children with high quality resources
- Support us in developing the children’s social and emotional skills
- Provide opportunities for our children, that they may not have access to outside of school.
- Support us in giving all of our children everlasting memories!
The PTA members work closely with school staff to enrich the Crowlands Primary School Experience!
